1965 Dhanbad coal mine disaster is the disaster that occurred in 1965 in a coal mine near Dhanbad town in India that killed 375 miners. On 28 May 1965 there was an explosion in Dhori colliery near Dhanbad. Resulting fire killed 375 miners.
