Laxminagar Colony is a gated community in Hyderabad, India. It is tucked away near the Gudimalkapur crossroads, near Mehdipatnam, on the Ring Road that leads to Bangalore from Hyderabad.
This colony consists of 30–40 independent bungalow/houses that are very well made and neatly maintained. Bordering this colony on its Western side is a large Indian Army establishment.
Commercial area
The shopping option is ample for this colony since it is close to Mehdipatnam and Gudimalkapur. For small daily needs there is an Ezeeway Supermarket just opposite to the entrance gate of this colony. One road leads to Nanalnagar where there is a More Supermarket promoted by the Aditya Birla group apart from a host of kirana and other shops.
This road continues to Gudimalkapaur on the other side. Gudimalkapur is the site of the Gudimalkapur Wholesale Vegetable Market where fresh vegetables are available for good prices. However Reliance Fresh that has 2 outlets in the area gives good competition.
Transport
Since this colony is close to Mehdipatnam it is well connected by APSRTC buses.
Schools
The option for schools is very good for the residents.
