Aakanksha Arora is an Actress/model/Singer of Indian/Persian/European descent. She was born on september 30th 1988 in New Delhi, India to Mr. Subhash Arora and Mrs. Krishna Dalal. Her parents had an untraditional love marriage at a time when most marriages were arranged. Her father was of persian/european descent tracing the family roots back to Iran and Tehran, whilst her mother was of Aryan descent and of the Kshatriya (warrior/ruler) caste of Hindus. She grew up in a large family and led a very comfortable lifestyle. But when she was 3, her mother put her in boarding school due to some marital problems in the family. She stayed in boarding school (GNFC school, Mussourie, India) for 10 years until the end of ninth grade. She did however, briefly attend Loreto Convent, and Irish-Catholic convent in Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi, India.
After 9th grade, she came to San Francisco, USA to reunite with her parents who were now living there and finished high school at Albany High, Albany, CA. She then went on to play Volleyball at College of Alameda as team captain and eventually transferred to University of California at Santa Barbara where she is finishing up school and simultaneously recording her first album, something she always yearned to do.
Aakanksha, has not been speculated about much because of her intent to remain anonymous and infamous so she may finish her college career in peace as the inisders of the music and film industry wait for her to finish so she may be put into a suitable career.
