It says that it is autonomous in all academic matters - faculty recruitment, programmes, admissions, curriculum design, course offerings, evaluation and assessment and award of diplomas. TAPMI has recognition of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the AICTE’s National Board of Accreditation (NBA) with a rating of A. TAPMI has initiated the process of getting accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Courses offered
TAPMI offers a two-year, full-time PGDM programme in management (equivalent to an MBA.
Other programmes
Management-In-Practice (MIP) is a programme in TAPMI to enhance faculty-student-industry interaction. The MIP programme lets students spend time in industry.
Executive Education
TAPMI is involved with business organisations to provide continuous learning and education to their executives. These programmes are conducted at TAPMI, Manipal or TAPMI CEE Bangalore or at the client’s location.
Location
TAPMI is located in Manipal near the town of Udupi. Udupi is nearest railway station (2 km) on Mumbai - Mangalore Konkan railway route. The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport at Bajpe which is about 60 km from TAPMI.
